Several years ago, when I was unable to find a suitable bonnet for my own daughter, I crocheted one for her.

I received so many compliments and requests that I began to crochet and sell them at the local farmer's market in Port Townsend, WA. By the end of the season I added some new items and started selling at local craft fairs. In the third year, my husband turned out to be a natural with a crochet hook, and took over the job of making the merino wool slippers and booties.

We are now working out of our home in PEI, Canada, where we will continue our success with hats and booties, while expanding our line of boiled wool sweaters with embroidered and crocheted embelishments.
